Reverend Ross Matthew Johnson, Jr. is a native of Forth Worth, Texas.  He is a former member of Samaria Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

Reverend Johnson is the youngest of fourteen children and was born to the union of Ross Matthew Johnson, Sr. and Earnestine Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas.  Reverend Johnson accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour at the tender age of eight.  He was called into the ministry and licensed at the age of fifteen and ordained at the age of nineteen to preach the Word of God by Reverend McKinley Jackson.  Reverend Johnson served as the Youth Pastor at Samaria Missionary Baptist Church as well as an Associate Evangelism and Devotional Leader.

Reverend Johnson graduated from Dillard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and many other noteworthy accomplishments.  He received a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Reverend Johnson became the youngest pastor of Tulane Memorial Baptist Church on September 21, 1997 at the age of twenty-seven, where he continues to faithfully serve.

Pastor Johnson has a vision of increased unification, fellowship and spiritual growth within the body of Christ thereby effecting positive spiritual change in the community.
